Liveaboard Diving Cruises in Phuket, Thailand |
|
Situated in South East Asia, in the Malay peninsula, this 'pearl of the
Orient' is bordered on the east with Cambodia, north with Laos, west
with Burma (Myanmar) and South with Malaysia. Thailand offers among the best sightseeing and vacation places in the region and the world. Its accommodation system is no doubt western with lower costs compared to the equivalent in the western world. Thailand is a remarkable resort destination with places like Phuket and the Andaman Sea, Koh Samui, PhiPhi Island and Krabi. The weather is warm year round and the country is ruled by two monsoons: the northeast and southwest monsoons. They give to the place different seasons on the west and east coasts. The west coast, where lie the wonderful Phuket and Similan Islands , is ruled by the southwest monsoon which gives the area its dry season between November and April. The east coast where Koh Samui and Koh Tao lie is ruled by the northeast monsoon which gives the area its dry season between April and October. The M.V. Andaman Seafarer is a comfortable liveaboard wood and
steel dive vessel. She accommodates up to 16 passengers in
four air conditioned cabins and as most of our customers book on
"VIP passenger" cabins, most of our cruises have a maximum of
6-10 guests. Each cabin has four single bunks (200x90x20). She has two
showers toilets. The decks are wide and spacious to provide guests with
maximum diving convenience and tropical living. The vessel is equipped
with radar, a GPS navigation system, a depth sounder, a CB radio, a VHF
radio, 2 generators and a 4.7m Avon Rib dinghy with a 25 HP outboard.
The diving equipment includes 2 compressors and adequate tanks and
weights, (other equipment can be rented from the dive center). The crew of six consists of the skipper/owner (Charlie), a captain, an engineer, a deck hand, a Thai cook (his food is a feature of the cruise) and a Divemaster or an Instructor. They have years of chartering experience in this area and are eager to give you the liveaboard dive holiday of a lifetime. |
